This white bag is named after Alvar Aalto, internationally renowned Finnish designer who influenced our creative director.
This white bag opens diagonally, the brand’s signature characteristic, and is larger and extends further down than our other bags. Blending refined modernism with a sensibility within the details, the Alvar stands out thanks to its boxy shape.
This Alvar was made out of white calfskin leather and camel on the strap. This piece will be perfectly suited to you daily summer looks thanks to its color and very practical design.
An offbeat and contemporary style guaranteed!
D’ESTRËE loves artists and tells them so. Thus, each collection of bags, hats or jewellery is named after painters, sculptors, performers, photographers or designers who have marked the History of Art. I grew up among art catalogues and was lucky enough to be moved, at a very young age, by museums and galleries all over the world,” explains Géraldine Guyot. So I developed a certain sense of colour and assemblage. Today, art occupies an important place in my life and is the DNA of D’ESTRËE. »
Here, the designer Géraldine wanted to pay tribute to the memory of the famous Finnish architect, urban planner and designer Alvar Aato. His work of great modernity are true sources of inspiration for D’ESTRËE.
At D’ESTRËE, quality and know-how are at the heart of the bag manufacturing process. Indeed, the leathers we use come from renowned Italian tanneries.
